Every team gets a head coach committed to the season. The volunteer coaches are vetted parents who've coached before — not strangers running drills. The Flight Basketball partnership puts player-development pros on the floor for clinics and bench support.

Coach assignments and bios are published the week before the season opens. Want your kid coached by someone specific? Note it on registration — we honor requests when we can.

Full refund through May 15. After that, refunds are case-by-case — injuries and medical situations always honored. Email hq@therunhoops.com with the request and we'll get back within 24 hours.
We play indoors at West Coast Strength. Weather doesn't cancel a single game. Air-conditioned gym means heatwaves don't either.
Yes, with coach approval. Note the request on registration and we'll evaluate based on skill level. The goal is competitive games — playing up makes sense for advanced kids; playing down isn't allowed.
Yes. Sign up as a free agent and we'll match you with a roster spot. Free agents register the same way; on the form, mark "free agent" and we handle placement.
We do. Every team gets a unique colorway built around THE RUN's gold-and-black system. Sublimated, numbered, and yours to keep when the bracket's done.
One week before opening night. You'll get an email with your kid's team, coach, jersey number, and the full season schedule. Roster moves after that are by request and only if there's a real reason.
Full schedule lands in your phone via the league app one week before the season starts. Live standings, individual stats, and the playoff bracket update during the season.
